About Crossing Vineyards
Established in 2000 by the Carroll Family, Crossing Vineyards and Winery produced its first vintage in 2002 and has since added over 60 medals to its trophy case, including World's Best Chardonnay in Starwine 2006.
Crossing Vineyards is located on a 200 year old estate in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, less than a mile from the place where George Washington crossed the Delaware in 1776.
The idea of creating a vineyard on the site was conceived by a 10 year old Tom Carroll Jr, shortly after his family purchased the property in 1986. Tom nurtured his dream over the years, and after spending an extended period of time in California, returned to Bucks County to join his parents in forming Crossing Vineyards and Winery.
The company now has three stores: The main location in Washington Crossing; a retail outlet in The Marketplace at East Falls in Philadelphia; and Crossing Vineyards Wine and Cheese Shop in The Mohegan Sun Casino at Pocono Downs, which features specialty cheeses and fine food from igourmet.com.
In addition to its award winning wines, Crossing Vineyards offers wine education, winemaker's dinners, a summer concert series and a unique venue for hosting private and corporate celebrations.
